Cylinder Notes

  • Flat heads use O-Ring or Gasket. Other versions use Gasket
  • All two-seal heads have oil return port on side of domed plate.
  • Brass spacer in domed heads must be reused

  • For damaged plungers, please inquire about U-Cup Conversion Kit (6EA174)
  • Either use Gasket or O Ring, NEVER BOTH.
  • *O Ring not available
  • ** 7-1/2" Seal only available
  • Do not use standard 1/2 cross section seal below Rota Seal as this may result in excessive friction.
  • 2 Seal units require spacer. Use Packing set and one spacer - do not use 2 seals in tandem.
  • Must purchase factory replacement seal guide to use Packing Alternatives above
  • Pre-1980 Rota heads may use a Babbitt wear surface. Split wear ring will not retro-fit
  • Do not place seals in the cavity below the Rota seal
